DOLL HOUSE MINIATURES

June 15th, 2012  Here are two pictures of the finished Ceramic 38-pc Dinnerwear sets that I’ve created a long time ago.  The detailed set has hand-painted flowers and the white set has 14K Gold fired around the rims of each piece.  The dinner plate measures 3/4 of an inch representing a 9″ plate.  Scroll down to see a tray of greenware with some of the unfinished product.

March 20th, 2012:  I have updated some of the pictures and info on this page.  Scroll down and take a peek….

I was about 8 years old when I was given my first doll house.  It was back in the late 50’s.  I can remember it like it was yesterday…. a tin Renwal with all the furnishings.  Each room finely painted detailed .

I wish I can say that this is my original tin house, it was left behind when we moved to Long Island, my Mom thinking I was getting too old to be playing with dolls and doll houses.  Little did she know that at age 61, I still dabble in dollls!!

This is almost the exact replica of the one I had.

I was lucky enough to find a mint dollhouse about 15 years ago with all the original plastic renwal funiture.  I can’t believe it was only $150!  I wonder what this beauty would be worth today.
